Step 2 - Kickstart a Campaign

To help you retain and grow community, W3W allows you to launch token-based campaigns like free mints, whitelists, airdrops, and giveaways, and track and report on campaign performance all through a centralized platform.

About Campaigns on W3W

Under the "Campaign" section, you can gain a comprehensive view of all your campaign performance, including growth trend of campaign participants, social media accounts collected, top traffic sources, etc.

By clicking "View Details" on each campaign card, you can gain more detailed insights into each campaign's performance.

Currently, the W3W dashboard supports four types of campaign creation:

  • Free Mint Campaign: Offer free mints to valuable holders

  • Whitelist Campaign: Offer whitelist spots for upcoming mints

  • Airdrop Campaign: Airdrop NFTs or merch to valuable holders

  • Giveaway Campaign: Offer giveaways to valuable holders

1. How to Create Campaigns

1) Click "Create Campaign" and select your campaign type.

2) Fill in the 'Campaign Details' section.

What is Co-hosted Campaign: it allows you to invite another W3W project to co-host a campaign and shared the campaign sign up info together

3) Add your token-gated requirements in the "Campaign Requirements" section

W3W currently supports token-gated criteria based on: Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, and Solana.

a. Click on the "Available to All" feature if the campaign is available for all users to participate.

b. Click on the "Custom Requirements" feature if the campaign is only available for users with specific wallet addresses to participate.

Custom Requirements include:

  • Select from Collections: Select participants from specific NFT collections and define who holds minimum count of collection's NFTs as the entry ticket

  • Select from Tokens: Select which tokens campaign participants must hold and how many in order to enter

  • Import from CSV: Import the users with specific wallet addresses via a CSV file

  • Select from Custom Tags: Select participants who meet certain custom tag requirements

4) Add your "Social Media Requirements"

W3W currently supports six types of interactions with social media:

  • Reply to a Tweet

  • Retweet a Tweet

  • Post a Tweet

  • Quote a Tweet

  • Follow on Twitter

  • Join Discord

  • Verify Discord roles

  • Join Telegram

If you choose to interact with users by having them reply to a tweet, retweet a tweet, or quote a tweet:

  • You need to publish a tweet first, or you can go ahead with your campaign creation, and come back later to edit when you have published the tweet. Your campaign will remain incomplete until you add the tweet's link.

  • W3W allows to add requirements for tagging friends and adding hashtags to increase engagement

5) Define the raffle type

Determine how you would like campaign participation to be weighted:

  • By default, each participant gets one entry

  • You can also set up weighted entry to define different NFT collections with different-weighted entries based on their value

6) Campaign permissions: PUBLIC vs PRIVATE

You can set your campaign as PRIVATE or PUBLIC based on different purposes:

  • Private Campaign: Campaign will be hidden from the W3W campaign page, and only accessible through a specific link. This case usually applies for test campaigns.

  • Public Campaign: Campaign will be visible on W3W's official website, which allows more views and participation.

Once all above steps are set, you can launch your campaign successfully!

7) You're all set! Share your campaign and get started!

2. Pick Campaign Winners

After your campaign ends, W3W offers 3 ways to help you pick winners: random, FCFS (First Come, First Serve), or manual selection.

a. Click "Pick Winner" to get started. b. Choose your winner selection method. c. Specify the number of winners you'd like selected. d. Click 'Confirm' to choose winners.

3. Notify Campaign Winners

After winners are selected, we offer 3 ways to notify them: Discord announcement, email notification, or social media DM.

How to notify winners through Discord?

To notify winners on Discord, you need to ensure your Discord Server is connected to W3W. Please refer to the link below for the set up guidance.

Step 4 - Manage Roles in Discord
